Job Description
As a part of HP Solution & Integration team you will be working closely with HP clients and HP BTO product team in world wide and China to analyze, design, coding and test a solution/customized products.

If you take this position, you might travel to domestic or international customer side in 50% of your working days. You should be good at both oral and listening English, and have proven technical backgrounds.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor or above degree in computer-related discipline
  • At least 3- 5 years IT experience focusing on enterprise application development
  • Familiar with requirement gathering and analysis (including the common requirement collection technologies)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with proven software debugging skills.
  • Familiar with design methods/technologies, like object-oriented design, UML analysis, etc.
  • Strong software development skills using Java/J2EE
  • Advanced scripts skills, including Perl, VB script, Java script or shell scripts.
  • Strong software development experience in DB, such as Oracle, SQL server and MySQL
  • Proven programming and deployment experience on both Windows and Unix platforms
  • Basic Network/System management knowledge
  • BTO products development experience is a great plus
  • For ITIL/ITSM domain, ITSM/ITIL experience is a strongly preferable. One of CA or Tivoli enterprise management system is a great plus

Function: Senior Testing Engineer / Testing Lead

Job Description
The major areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Gain thorough understanding of overall product architecture and key features to be able to conduct testing properly.
  • Gain thorough understanding of overall test plans and be able to work out test plan for individual components testing
  • Develop functional test plans and test cases from functional specification and software design documents.
  • Execute test cases, analyze results, create defects, verify fixes and perform follow up work to resolve issues.
  • Review functional specifications, assess their coverage, assess their testability, and provide meaningful feedback.    
  • Patient and meticulous to the details.

 Qualifications

  • Bachelor (undergraduate) or Masters (graduate) degree in computer science.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking capabilities.
  • Good English on both Oral and Written.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Experienced with Stress test and Performance test.

Function: Portfolio Engineering Engineers

General Summary
As a member of Portfolio Engineering (PE) project, you will work with a world wide team to provide IT service in infrastructure for global customers. We are looking for three types of PE engineers:

  • Desktop management lead and engineers
  • Infrastructure management lead and engineers
  • Network management lead and engineers

The tasks of these engineers include implementing and supporting varies of application and related development. i.e. SAP, Apache, WebLogic, Oracle and etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum BS in Computer Science/Engineering

Function: Software Engineer:

Responsibilities:

  • The development engineer works as a key member of an engineering team to develop, test, deploy, support and maintain one or more of HP core telecom products or solutions.
  • Communicate with HP local and WW team.

Requirements:

  • 2 years+ experience in software development, deployment, support, or maintenance projects. Telecom industry background is a plus.
    Strong Java/C/C++/.Net development skills.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills. CET6 is a MUST.
  • Understand the full Software Development Life Cycle and methodologies

  • Willing to travel.

Function: Testing Engineer:
Responsibilities:

  • Play as testing engineer, participate in telecom related solution and application development.
  • Responsible for testing (functional / system integration and performance test) environment setup and configuration.
  • Responsible for test plan, test case design, bug tracking, test report and improvement. 
    Communicate with development team and customer to improve the quality of delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years software test related working experience in IT industry. Telecom background is preferred.
  • Experience in common testing tools. Experience in Mercury Quality center (Test Director, Load runner) is a plus
  • Familiar with test lifecycle.
  • Experiences of Oracle, HP-UX, Java/.NET are preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills in English is the MUST

Function: Telecom Testing Engineer:
Responsibilities:

  • Play as testing engineer, participate in carrier grade mobile device management  system  IOP testing and device automation testing
  • Responsible for functional/performance testing of server based applications
  • Responsible for testing (functional / system integration and performance test) environment setup and configuration.
  • Responsible for test plan  and test case preparation
  • Responsible for test execution and test result reporting
  • Responsible for bug tracking and analysis
  • Responsible for investigating and designing device automation testing process/toolsets

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience in mobile device testing
  • Familiar with mobile device configuration and testing. For example, GPRS, WAP, PIM, MMS, SMSC configuration.
  • Experience in testing tools including Load Runner / Quick Test Professional / Test Director
  • Knowledge in mobile OS including Windows Mobile, Embedded Linux
  • Experience in J2ME and C++ mobile device application development is a plus.
  • Knowledge of OMA-DM, SyncML, OTA and FOTA is a plus.
  • Experienced in using J2EE application.
  • Experienced in using Oracle 9i or higher version.

Fuction: Telecom BSS Billing Engineer
Requirements:

  • More than 5 years of working experience in Telco industry, at least 3 years on BSS-Billing product/solution R&D or Delivery/Consulting. Skilled at one of HP IUM, Intec etc. Mediation software (Preferred) or Amdocs/Portal/Convergys/CSG KenanBP billing software at Advance or above level.
  • Advanced or above skill in Java/J2EE is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Unix, Windows 2000 and RDBMS is a must. Oracle on HP-UX preferred.
